JAZZFORMANCE: WIRPSZA is an experimental fusion of poetry, jazz and live visuals, which premiered in 2015 and was subsequently staged in various venues—including Małopolski Ogród Sztuki (Kraków) and, and was subsequently staged at Kinoteatr Rialto (Katowice), during the Boska Komedia Theatre Festival in Krakow, and at the Synagogue under the White Stork in Wrocław during the International Poetry Festival Silesius.
The project integrated recitation of Witold Wirpsza’s avant-garde poetry by Radosław Krzyżowski and live jazz improvisation with Piotr “Pianohooligan” Orzechowski and the Oleś brothers, Marcin and Bartłomiej with real-time visual projections. As the live VJ, I created a visual narrative that became essential to the performance—my live visuals heightened the poetic and musical expression, giving it a spatial and multi-layered dimension.
Through the seamless blend of image, sound, and text, JAZZFORMANCE: WIRPSZA emerged as a tripartite storytelling experience—where poetry, jazz, and visuals met on stage in full dialogue.
