A Magical Journey – All of Our Beautiful Poland

A Magical Journey – All of Our Beautiful Poland was an educational folk performance created for the Mazowsze National Folk Song and Dance Ensemble, one of Poland’s most renowned folk ensembles, dedicated to preserving and presenting the country’s regional music, dance, and visual traditions. The production introduced audiences to the diversity of Polish regions through traditional costumes, folk culture, choreography, and regional identity.

My multimedia design for the performance consisted of large-scale projections inspired by traditional regional ornaments, patterns, and folk motifs. The visual system accompanied the staged presentation of different regions of Poland, creating an immersive scenographic environment that connected choreography, costume, and projected image into a unified educational narrative. The projections functioned not only as a visual backdrop, but also as a dynamic interpretive layer translating elements of Polish folk aesthetics into contemporary multimedia language.
