The Other Side of Things. Polish Design after 1989 (National Museum in Kraków) curated by Prof. Czesława Frejlich) was a large-scale exhibition examining the transformation of Polish design after 1989, tracing its relationship to post-communist transition, global trends, material culture, and evolving national identity. Presented within a broad curatorial framework that connected functional design, experimentation, and social reflection, the exhibition surveyed the diversity of Polish design practices across the post-transformation era.
My multimedia work for the exhibition included large-format projections dedicated to transportation systems and moving-image presentations featuring leading Polish designers, expanding the exhibition beyond static display into a dynamic audiovisual environment. These multimedia installations functioned as interpretive and spatial extensions of the curatorial narrative, integrating documentary interviews, design histories, and projected motion into the museum architecture. The project created a visual framework that connected objects, ideas, and social change, translating contemporary Polish design into an immersive exhibition language.
